4.2 or 4.9? I think I have a 4.2, but I'm not sure. I read that the 4.9 is superior to the 4.2. Any thoughts to this, is the 4.9 good for VEMS or no?
Only LSU 4.2 is supported out of the box, LSU 4.9 requires some hardware modifications. Therefore easiest is to use LSU 4.2.

Thanks!

Thanks!
What exacly is involved?
I saw the 4.9 option in VEMStune and pulled the trigger on a batch of 4.9s since it is a superior product and far more durable as my car goes through 4.2s every 3-4 months or so .

Sorry meant to quote this answer
Hello M3GTttHulk,
We are currently working on firmware to allow LSU 4.9 sensors without any hardware changes; I would recommend waiting until that has been released.
Best regards, Dave

Thanks Dave,
Just sent you a PM on the subject so just ignore it.
Any indicated time frame? My 4.2 just freaked out, now showing numbers between 0.7 and 0.85 irratically, even with the car not running.

If you're seeing that kind of erratic change and going through sensors as quick as you say (3-4 months) you have a problem elsewhere that will not be solved by moving to the 4.9 LSU.
Fix your issues first. the 4.2 LSU last a very long time when used correctly.
