Title: Wrong Starting - Cranking/Afterstart
Post by: JRD McLAREN on July 16, 2012, 06:09:15 PM
Hello..
I have problem with starting my engine.. not matter if is cold or heat..

I not sure, it is only my suggestion maybe..
but if I have connected the tuning laptop, engine will start after few rews...
without anything connected - it can't start.

Have anybody some advice??
or same/similar problem .??

The ECU thinks you're shorting the RX/TX wire on pin 2 and 3 of the serial port, and drops to bootloader mode instead of running the engine.

Make sure your serial port wiring is "nice looking".
