Title: Understanding total enrichment
Post by: se7ensport on July 15, 2012, 05:17:51 PM
I'm taking my car to a rolling road this thursday, having done some rough tuning using logs and VE learn I would like to understand the elements that can effect the Total enrichment figure, I've uploaded a log to the sharing centre; would someone please advice on the factors causing Total enrichment to show as 97%:

Thanks
Alex

Thank you, this implies I need to try and lower my intake temp.

I've started running a VEMS unit with inbuilt MAP (115kPa) to allow for altitude/barometric correction although I'm using Alpha-N, my understanding is that it takes a sample when the unit is initially switched on, so far I have only seen a correction of 100%; this seems a little unlikely, have I got it configured correctly?
