Title: question about grounding RS232
Post by: rossi46numberone on August 04, 2011, 01:51:17 AM
Hi,
I have read in an other topic that the EC18-pin 17 is internally grounding for convenience.
Does this output can be use for grounding the RS232;or is better to go EC36-pin 26?

Michele....

If you have a knock chip, but not using it, then you can use the knock signal ground as RS-232 (serial port) ground.
