Could this be used with hall sensor from vems shop ( http://shop.vems.hu/catalog/hall-sensor-p-107.html (http://shop.vems.hu/catalog/hall-sensor-p-107.html) )as camsync wheel?
Primary trigger is 60-2 VR.

Remove the two on the side, and keep the middle "tooth".
Or, bolt something to the three holes that protrudes further and use that as the cam sync trigger tooth.
So i can have camsync with only one tooth? :o
If i leave rotor arm bolted, would that hall sensor be able to detect it or its too narrow?
Its same as on 6cyl bmw e30...
You should only have ONE tooth for cam sync, anything else is a very special case..
Not sure what the rotor arm looks like anymore, never really had to use one for a long time. I would just spend five minutes with a drill press and an angle grinder and make a good trigger tooth.
cool, im waiting for hall sensor from shop, cant wait to try.
btw car now goes really nice
Nice to hear it's running ok! This is your Alfa V6 right, with 60-2 primary trigger?
BTW, the trigger pattern on a 6 cyl engine can be called "6+1" when you have three teeth on crank and one on the cam.

Yes it is :D
if you have 60-2 or simular on crank, you can use that cam syn with firmwar 1.1.89 or newer.
That's true, you can now filter out the unwanted teeth.
In this case, the stock rotor is bolted to that center with three bolts, I'd just make something else that bolts to the same holes. There is no ready-made trigger sensor mount, it's all custom so if I was to setup the engine I would simplify things and have only one tooth.
it is just as easy to cut those two off.. then you dont have to worry about which tooth or getting filter setup.. you have it apart just wack them off quick is my vote..
i did fiat with similar(maybe exactly same) with 1.1.89 firmware(that option is written for that car :) and car is day daily and works without problems.
Il just drill hole for round sensor and extend middle tooth....
How big it needs to be for hall to read it properly?
