Title: No ground from EC36 - pin 11 and 12
Post by: DevInAz on June 06, 2011, 08:22:32 PM
Short story:

when getting this car running the first time we had a coil wire melt itself to the turbo and blew out a driver. We ordered new drivers and installed one. Now that we have our boost solenoid hooked up again we need a open driver to control it. Yesterday I played with it but couldn't get a ground out of pin 11 or 12. I removed the vems and pulled it apart to take a look and see if our repairs did more damage to the board. These are my only two open drivers left and i'm not sure what else I can do to control our boost solenoid. Help?

What is the open driver port for?

A better picture of the open spot.

This is the new driver I used. Is there anywhere I can find out which drivers do what?
