Title: Setting up Round Display only gauge
Post by: mdlimy on June 03, 2011, 07:38:36 AM
I installed my round display gauge today and played around a bit with setting it up and now i have a few questions.

Why is there no menu in vemstune for setting the guage up? i hate megatune :D

So I managed to get the lambda and coolant temp read out to work well and im happy with that, but i cant seem to make the kpa map and iat read correctly.
The map needs to read from between 20kpa and 200+kpa, but i cant seem to make it read like that.
The iat is completly out of whack, its a 4 digit number that i cant seem to make look correct.

Seems like all the info on the round display is kind of outdated, can someone give me some more current info and or a guide to setting it up.

Thanks
Robbie

There is.

Just connect the gauge to your laptop, open Vemstune and power the gauge up and it will connect.
Maybe you have to download the Round-firmwares through the firmware-web-tool.

This is useful to display AIM informations from ECU to the ROUND
For example send throttle, rpm... from a VEMS V3 ECU to VEMS round
This need some step to configure in:
1: connect to V3
2: enable AIM (Output menu/Display settings)
3: burn configuration to V3
4: connect to Round
5: set up what to show (Display menu / Main display settings) for more details see the Methods
6: burn configuration to Round
7: connect Round to V3 (with adapter)
8: reboot V3

done
