what is the limit on my ecus internal map sensor and if i run my external is it easy to change the wire inside the ecu cheers chris
rob any ideas?
The limit of your MAP sensor should be obvious if you follow the calibration advice in the help text for the "ECU calibrations dialog. What do you have?
Easy to change, sure. What's "easy" to you? It's just a couple of wires at the edge of the board, piece of cake.
Gunni should sort it out, if he has time to help you.
il test to see what it maxes out at yeah i can use a soldering iron ect any more elaboration on what i need to move if the map sensor is no use to me
if the map sensor is too small for your use. and you feel you can handle changing it out. pop the end plates off and take a look its fairly easy to point out the map sensor in the ecu.. if you think you can remove it and install a bigger one, order one from webshop.
i have an external one wired in ready was hoping to use that instead of the internal one altogether
You will need to know the specification of the MAP sensor that you have - e.g. what it's maximum kpa reading is and what voltage that will be at, and if the output is linear.
This is the one rob
