Title: 1.1.81 Boost+ EGT safety reduction
Post by: AVP on March 05, 2011, 04:39:17 PM
Hi

i am going to enable these features on the ECU. Can i ask though, when does the addition of extra fuel takes place? is that AFTER the EGT value is reached OR gradually as you get closer to the EGT value?

For example, i have a set value of 1080C above which boost will get reduced and more fuel will be added (5%)

does the extra fuel start to get added once the 1080C is reached or before that as part of the interpolation procedure?

thanks
vasilis

Protection function enables above configured EGT.

You can prove it by setting low EGT limit. Datalog will show you lambda and boost target changes.
