The next VemsTune release (in a week or so) will have a preliminary autotune feature.
When me and Emil were in VEMS HQ last week we made a rough specification and now it's in the main development branch.
It has a smart look ahead to speed-up tuning, helps in the dyno and also prevents users from trying to tune with a too rough initial VE map.
