Title: Switch between 2 diff maps while the car is running???
Post by: rossi46numberone on January 23, 2011, 01:53:28 PM
Hi,
My car is equipped with a "BRC" LPG system,I would like to know if it's possible to switch between to different maps while the car is running.
If yes, should I use a normaly open switch?
What are the ecu pin planned entry for?
What about the config....
It will be nice to have a respective map for each fuel type.
Any suggestion...??

Michele.

Yes, you can switch between config "A" and "B".
Normally open or closed, is up to you.

Use any of the analog inputs that have an internal 5.0 Volt pull-up. That info should be on a piece of paper you got with the ECU. If you don't have that, check the pin-out and then compare with the ADC raw gauges in VemsTune to see which pin and input to use.

I think this is more complicated than just switching configs, please read :
