Hi,
8)
Is that a whole zetec lump, or the CVH with a zetec head?
Cheers,
Gavin :)
Its a 2 litre Mondeo Engine, rebored to 2044ccc to fit Calibre Turbo pistons (forged Mahle pistons from factory). lightened, balanced, polished conrods, little ends modified to fit vauxhall gudgen pins. Lightened and balanced crank. 1800 zetec water pump, (mondeo pumps wrong way) sump and oil pickup for exhaust routing of front pipe. 2 litre head reconed and exhaust manifold studs redrilled to match Cvh turbo manifold.
Forgot the important bit.. Its just a standard T3 Escort Turbo, for now......
Hi, did you use the EDIS module for ignition or the VEMS coildriver ? which one is better?
Im considering buying VEMS for my escort rst project and ive allready got the EDIS module and coilpack, but as VEMS has a builtin coildriver I could use either the module or the built in coildriver. thanks!
Hi,
I'd use the built in coil drivers as they give you complete control over the ignition. The coil pack is ideal to use though :)
Cheers,
Gavin :)
thanks a lot! VEMS it is 8)
