Title: Can't get higher O2 value than 16.9
Post by: NitroX5 on August 26, 2010, 05:46:31 PM
Firmware 1.1.74, 3.6 board
WBO is brand new: LSU 7 057

Wideband "software" config has got from Bob's guide.
The hardware configuration process successfully executed.
       Pump Zero: 0.1V (value 101)
       Nernst DC target: 0.45V (value 136)  //Gnd& Pin5 is 4.1//
---------------Perfect-----------------

...then the free air calibration is not. Heatup is working (E4), O2 reading comes after a while, but even with the max cal. value(255), it only give 16.9 oxygen reading. WFT???
What could be the problem?

After a couple of minutes of heating, is the sensor tip _really_ hot ?
If it's stone cold, go look for the obvious mis-wiring issues.

Really hot, I cant touch it. After couple of minutes the whole case is hot, so it is working fine.

Try another sensor and if that doesn't work, check all the wiring again.

Another sensor has been tried out. It was a brand new LSU 4.0 6066, issue is the same :(

Ok, I found the problem: after measuring Volts again, it tuned out the Nerst pin was connected to EC18 pin 1 :S
Confused the #1 at wbo and on the board as well.

So now it's working, thanks for help.
//similar problem at a sweden guy, but only with 12V power: http://www.vems.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=869 (http://www.vems.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=869) //
