Post by: Kamuto on July 27, 2010, 08:19:23 PM
hello, just wanted to ask, where to connect knock sensor in 3.6 version, in 3.3 there was knock ground, where it must be connected now?

I am guessing that it is on the ground pin that has now appeared on the ec18 plug.

ok thanks, one more queston with what latest firmware knock works?
v3.3

The knockchip and 4MHz crystal is installed (if ordered v3.3 with knock-kit), the only thing needed is to connect the sensor input through the 3 pin header (pads) at the northwest corner (looking at the "top") :
North pad (close to board-edge): knockA signal (channel 0) (usually through EC18pin3)
Middle pad: knock GND (usually through EC18pin2)
Southern pad: knockB signal (channel 1) - usually not used

so ground to the ec18-17 pin and knock to ec18-1 pin or any pin free of board?

can this pin affect wideband work, (it is not working now)? because this ground isn't connected at all now, no ground to ec18-2 connected I'm using my old wiring.  ???
