I will run with ITBs and a big cam so will most likely need to run with an alphaN setup.
Has anyone got a config I can look at to see the break points you are running for the TPS?
Thanks
Paul
I have few cars on alpha N. Put 0 1 2 4 7 ... 70 85 100 for points.
Needs to go 0 to 255, recommended to me was:
0,2,5,12,23,35,53,75,115,165,225,255
Thanks for the help.
With Vemstune it now scales for the TPS maps so the max is 100
Cheers
Paul

Depends from firmware. Newer use 0....100%
Well that goes to show the last car I set up... Need to get to grips with the new SW
When you have set them up, have you connected the fuel presure regulator up still or just left it open to atmosphere?
On my Nissan I used a FSE fuel regulator which had a guage so I knew it was providing fuel at a constant 3bar.
I wouldn't like to think about the pulsating effect on fuel pressure from an engine that couldnt produce a clean enough MAP signal.
The FSE regulator is sitting in my garage unused if you need one.

better live just open.
I left the regulator to atmosphere on my set up, but you will find the VE map is peaky
I'll leave mine open then thanks.
Rob - I don't think the FSE will work with my setup, my current regulator has two inputs and one output (for a boxer engine, makes the plumbing easier)
no problem, I'd have thought it would run like it does on my Subaru - one rail feeding another with a single FPR at the end.
I could have done it that way, but there is a bit less room in a bus behind the fanshroud to run the hoses than on a beetle
Well Vemstune doesn't seem to want to let me enter the TPS points I want to put in >:(
Maybe they are fixed at the following 3,7,11,15,17,19,25,31,37,45,54,62,70,78 - but I guess the ECU doesn't extrapolate out the boundaries of the table, and I can't imagine the VE will be the same at 0 pedal and 3% pedal?
Tried again and it works better this time, but I still can't enter 0 pedal and 100. They change to 1 and 99. A few other points are wrong as well. It is as if the scaling is greater than 1
Now I can get 0 ;D
I have no idea what is going on
You've got the TPS calibration spot on haven't you?
I'm at my desk with the ECU on a test harness with no tps....
I'll try again on the bus tonight
