Title: launchcontrol vs roadspeed
Post by: Denmark on July 04, 2010, 10:19:04 AM
Hi All.

Have any of you got this working?

I would think that i is supposed to work without a input switch right?

Meaning if i write 5000rpm @ 0km/t  i would like it to work at that limit, but that is not the case, as i have just tested it.(1.1.74)

This is also the way in works in a HKS F-con
launch vs roadspeed , so no switch is needed, and this is indeed a great way of controling it..

Any info on this?

for others that might have the same problem, with a none working launchcontrol in the newer firmware.

Launchcontrol vs roadspeed yes: possible to setup without a switch

So when using the launch vs roadspeed and i write 5000rpm @ 0 km/t, then this would work without any other setting ?

In new firmwares, for ALS and Launch input "inverted 0" (internal value 8) means "ALWAYS ON".

GenBoard/UnderDevelopment/FirmwareChanges is not clear from which firmware (1.1.75??) this was introduced. But it's obvious when using VemsTune (ini file was updated, the "always on" option added to the input selection dropdown)
before that, the chosen channel had to be pulled to 5V and chosen "inverted". (or pulled to GND and chosen).

Any news about that? How to configure it exactly? It behaves that way, that we can use it as some very simple traction control feature?
