Title: Same vemstune ver. but different menus on different computers?
Post by: ranz on June 21, 2010, 08:53:15 PM
Problem is that I and my friend use the same version of vemstune (10.14 - 2010.01.08, last final release).
But we discovered that we see menus differently.
For example, under boost control, boost PID settings, the window we see has different rows. Also with my computer I do not see table where I can reduce boost by gear, on the other computer it is there ???
I have not compared other tables, but already this is strange don´t you think?

We tested it on the same car yes.
But as I recall, the program needs also firmware installation? that I have to check, is that same or not.

Don't use 6 month old test releases.

Download the latest here :

As of now, 2010-06-17 is the latest one.

It´s not test release, from that page (http://www.vems.hu/download/v3gui/) this is latest final release.
OK, I´ll try the new release.

But to describe my problem, I made some screenshots.

One computer:

And yes, installed firmware is same on both computers.

Why are you angry. From the page I linked, from that I get that this is the working release, not test one.
OK, I downloaded the new vemstune... but can someone explain me that kinde of error:

Argghh was more like frustration because the people in charge don't remove the old releases that nobody should ever use.

What you're seeing in your picture is not a bug, the RPM  bins must contain a constantly rising rpm - which it doesn't. The first two bins are wrong:  6900, 7400 are both a lot higher than 1500 rpm.

But, with my resent vemsutune is the table correct, so is it the vemstune version bug? or what?
