Hi
I finally set up my Mercedes M119 engine with a VEMS. It´s running now quite good but I´m facing the problem with idle.
My setup is a 2 wire Bosch soleniod. Since I have only 4 ignition outputs, I used EC18-Pin 17 to control via pwm.
Am I right with my considerations that this won´t work.
Should I use one of the logic level outputs instead?
Best regards
Olli
it should work I think, anyway logic level ones wont work, but you always can add aditional IGBT in the ecu, just it will require flyback diode for it.
thanks for the reply Kamuto,
I use a diode on the soleniod allready like this

is there a how to to add an additional IGBT
Olli
Got it solved, I add one more IGBT and use this output for drive the IAC.

HI.
How did you do with the triggerwheel and cam-sync on the m119?

HI.
How did you do with the triggerwheel and cam-sync on the m119?
I guess it needs some external trigger wheel, unless you have some info or scope of it's crank signal
I have a m119 with vems but don't know who installed it and it uses the stock triggerwheel but no cam-sync is configured and the config is like this having issues to start but once it started it runs ok.
