trying to get boost control going, specifically gear based boost control
i've set the PID variables to zero, since i want it to be based on the dc table only
It seems to hit my target, but then fall off.
the bottom graph shows boost target and boost dc. They both fall off once the target is hit
i have the same dc value set across the RPM so i'm not sure what else could be causing the decrease? Is setting PID to zeros wrong?

check your egt and mat settings(rev limit/overun/safety), there is protection if egt is to high then boost is droping down.

Try raising dc value as rpm raises.
good call on the EGT's - pretty sure that is what the issue is. I currently have it set at 640c
setting up the boost controller is alot of work :( its amazing how well a manual boost controller does the job, plain and simple
The nr 1 problem with the boost control at the moment is lack of documentation. I wish the ones who developed this made the documentation available in VemsTune (F1 for help, + a brief guide).
If you like to see the inner workings of a function, like boost refDC
go to a empty gauge group (shift-2 for example)
right click background, add a new gauge "expression grid"
here you can select some different calculations, for example the refDC
documenting everything properly will be started as soon as the big bugs are removed (slowly getting there)
As i might get stuck here in hungary for a couple of days more because of the volcano, more updates will follow ;)

Sorry about that volcano.
It´s just the ashes of the icelandic economy getting blown around.

Lol you've managed to deflect away from the U.K elections on that note we don't mind
Any update on the documentation to the boost features or any guides on how to set it up?
