Title: acceleration enrichment
Post by: Seight-v8 on April 12, 2010, 01:02:16 AM
hello all,

still finding my way with vems, and been running my rover v8 4.6 today.

Seems happy on idle but when the throttle is blipped or reved slightly then engine is not happy...

Not sure what i should have settings wise for my engine...

anyone help with settings for these

acceleration enrichment
acceleration rpm vs amount
acceleration dotrate vs scale

do i need them all or just one???...confused as to why so many and which is best.

running V1.1.64 for now.....till i can get V1.1.70 to work somehow.

cheers

scott

Just take (import) from Mattias config in his signature.
In addition you can try add 40...100 in fuel film factor.

Yes, when it is from working config, it is easier to understand what each value describe.

Can I see anything on the acc. enrichment gauge if I use only fuel film and no enrichment by tps/rpm?

I have made some log with my mates bmw e36 with the the 1.1.74 fw, and I am a bit confused about acc. enrichment. Previously the car went oe injectors (about 200ccm), and 1.1.27, now injectors are 840ccm.
The acc. enrichment config very similar to mathias with some fuel film factor.

The engine revving well I think, but the log not too nice.
The tps_acc was near 6 ms with the small injector, now just 0.1-0.2 ms, but there is  some fuel film compensation because the pw and gVe have some non linear differenties.

How much delay the lambda sensor has?
What do you think, more or less enrichment needed?
