Hi guys,
Still having issues with my VEMS-powered ABZ engine (Audi 4,2L V8 32V).
I have had poor starting, and when it does fire up, quite high AFR - about 12.79.
Req. fuel has been 15, which when I take it down to 11, I get AFR reading of 14.55, which is better.
However, it often stumbles under load, I pulled the injector rail with injectors attached, and found 2 were leaking. These are OEM Bosch 199 cc/min @ 3,0 bar, high impedance. I have purchased a used set, and had them flow-tested. These are Bosch 346 cc/min @ 3,0 bar, high impedance.
I will be installing these tomorrow. What I'm not sure of is the req. fuel in Basic Settings to use. I'm not too sure of the formula by which Megatune calculates the fuel values. Do I alter any of the values in the fuel table, besides the req. fuel value?
The ABZ FPR is 4,0 bar, if this helps. Roughly what will the flow rate be, if it's 346 cc/min @ 3,0 bar?
