Title: coolant factor for 2050@25degc
Post by: Seight-v8 on September 29, 2009, 11:44:24 PM
hello all,

Trying to get the air & clt temperature sensors to read correctly on my vems unit.

Air is now reading within 3deg, but coolant is still reading 8degc out.

I used 2063 2063 256 when uploading firmware.

But think the coolant is more like 2050@25degc.

so anyone got a cltfactor_2050_256.clt file i can try.

Or how do i make my own?

I've looked about and cant find the correct one, its a rover v8 land rover sensor.

cheers

scott

I have a file for the old Lucas land Rover CLT.  I am not sure if the Lucas CLT is the same as the GEMS one, but I will package it up and send it to you for testing.  Failing that, I can tell you how to make your own file if you are really keen.

I have been playing with firmware 1.1.59.  This has a 17 point editable curve in software that can be configured however you want.  I will test this on my car later today and report results.
