5000-6000rpm it's faster in 2nd then in 6th... You can't see the rpm meter (dial) in second as it just jams the dial in the limiter, but in the 6th, rpm meter is moving slowly, so O2 would have time to read out and correct the AFR as needed... You won't blow the engine in 2nd, even if the AFR is wrong... But in 6th gear you would cook the engine in a few seconds if the AFR is wrong... As I did (2 times already both in 6th gear)...

You're talking about engine load being lower in second due to the torque multiplication of the lower gears, and the additional aerodynamic load at higher engine speed.

We're talking about the elapsed time between engine cycles and injector correction in closed loop mode, which is engine speed related and quite independent of engine load.

You should not run the ecu in closed loop mode at high engine speeds.
