Waterpump input sensor option?

I'm setting up a trans oil circulation pump that I would like the ECU to control via a temp sensor.  It seems that the best option for this is to use the Waterpump output.
However, in VEMSTUNE 1.5.57 it appears that I cannot select the input sensor used - that option is not available, like the help section indicates.  I'm guessing that the waterpump is linked to the coolant temp, but not sure.

I'm running firmware 1.2.31

Can I change the sensor that the waterpump output is sensing?  I have a custom sensor curve, and am reading correct trans temp at ADC ch. 2.

If you upgrade to 1.2.38 you can set MCP3208 ch. 2 to radiator outlet temperature and use that to control the water pump. I haven't tested thoroughly, but I think that's completely separate from the CLT, so should be safe to use.
