Hi, my friend is preparing his car for Vems and has this 60-2 wheel (from Fiat Kappa 2.0 16V T). And I am not sure, how to setup this wheel config. Also the first and the last teeth are litlle bit strange, i don't know, if it can work.. Thx for any help.

Only if am I right:
from pic above: TDC occurs 20 teeth after the -2gap crosses sensor, it means 20*6=120deg. When I set trigger tooth to 10 (60deg after -2gap), then TDC after trigger is 120 - 10*6= 60deg, and for advance I have 50deg window. Am I right ?
Thx.

It would give you a 60deg window, but how the electrical signal 'looks' to the ECU in comparison to how the wheel looks to us is a different matter, so you will need to fine tune the TDC after trigger value with a timing light - and then you'll know the exact advance window.  It is recommended to have the trigger tooth 90 to 60 deg BTDC so you have room to use tooth 8 or 9 if you wish.

Thanks, of course 60deg window for advance....
Yes, that's true, you have to check the advance with the timing light for exact value...
I mean only if I am thinking right, when I am calculating trigger parameters for the wheel ;)

Thanks Rob.

So that Fiat engine is running already, and my "calculations" were almost right ;) We've set Trigger tooth to 6, then TDC after trigger is 77deg (which means 6*6+77=113deg from missing teeth to TDC => it's almost 19teeth). This was checked with timing light.
Edit: this engine previously made 370HP/410Nm with MSII ;)
