hello,

This is possibly a stupid question but, i want to use a secondary trigger on my car. i couldnt use the normal cable in the v3 harness for this, as it was used for the primary. So i used a new cable for the HALL sensor.
But its a bit unclear how the ground and shielding is connected.

should i connect it at the ground collect for the sensors. or should i connect it to the vr sensor?

heres is where all the grounds go into the big ground

here is where the grounds collect from the sensors

and here is were the VR sensor connect in the v3 harnass to pin 26

What kind ir your secondary trigger - hall or VR?

For VR sensors I usually use audio cable with two wires in it, the connector end is soldered to corresponding pins in connector, at the other end, IIRC, I usually connect shielding and ground together, and then with all sensor grounds. For hall sender I don't see a reason why it should have shielded cable.

it is a hall sensor. it has shielded cable. but i guess i can just connect the negative to the pin 26?
