Noise is unusual on Hall setups, it one of their advantages.What engine and trigger setup are you using?How did you record the wav?

Apparently the sound card isnt good at sampling a Hall trigger because it has a decoupling capacitor that will screw up the signals - and make them look like that What are the symptoms that are leading you to suspect noise?
