Trigger wheel config
« on: March 24, 2007, 11:22:50 pm »
Just a quickie on this one.

What is, how do I determine, and does it matter to me, the setting for 'Crank Min. Period (usec)' 'Tooth Relation Normal' 'Tooth Relation Missing'

Also, 'Number Of Teeth On Wheel' is this actual teeth (36 - 1 = 35) or virtual teeth (35 + 1 = 36)??

Number of teeth is actual teeth IIRC.   Crank min period = 60/maximum_RPM

Im afraid that this is incorrect. The last part of the equasion is missing.

http://www.vems.hu/manual/html/ch09.html#Detailed.Sensor.RPM.Config

Crank Min Period is calculated as follows

60/ (max RPM +1000)/Number of engine events * 2

LOL spent about an hour just trying to get a resonable value and then finding the correct info ::) ;D

No worries ;)
