As the topic says.
Right now I'm using stock coils with removed igniters on my Mazda Rx7 -87 and it runs good I'm thinking about upgrading the coils and my question is if I should use IGBT coils or dumb coils?

I got Vems V3 with 8 built-in ignition drivers.

What is the benefit of the two coils?

With IGBT coils I can't control the dwell and such?

You should use IGBT if your coils you choose require them.
the LS1 coils are strong and should do the trick, or VAG coils, R35 coils, BMW N54 coils, there are all kinds of options for strong coils out there

with IGBT or non IGBT you can always control dwell
