More Questions (sorry)
« on: January 20, 2009, 03:49:53 pm »
When I open megatune and start logging i've noticed at the bottom, the row of 5 boxes still says "WBO2 off", "Sensor Disconneted", "Power Output OFF".  The other 2 boxes just have " - - -" in them.  Is this normal?  At the very bottom right "connected is shown (and not greyed out).

One more thing I've noticed is the noise the gauge makes, I understand it's something to do with the heater but when the gauge is up to temp and showing AFR it can still be heard to cycle every few seconds.  Again is this normal?  Appologise for all these questions of late, but the gauge comes with very little information and their is a lot of blanks that people are expected to fill in.

Thanks in advance

The Status line is like that - I think its a hang over from the VEMS ecu version.
The gauge will keep cyling the heater as it sees fit, quite often you'll only hear it when its frequency drops to audible range.

I agree that there are a lot of blanks, but thats what the forum is here to try and sort, or you could try the wiki page:

But your guess is as good as mine regarding the contents of those pages...

Ok thanks Rob, I was worried when i'd been for a half hour run and the guage was still making noises. If it's meant to do it fair enough but I needed to put my mind at rest lol.

No problem, theres the advantage with the guage housing in that its a small footprint package, but theres the other side that you get noise interference.
