Using the wide band on more than one car?
« on: January 26, 2009, 05:02:36 pm »
Maybe a silly question but still I wanted to ask it as I vagually remember reading something about the sensor and wasn't sure.
Can I chop and change the sensor between cars or is it advisable to get another sensor for the second car?

The gauge uses the sensor's calibration resistor - so you can use a different sensor if you want...
But an un-heated sensor will die quickly so you don't really want to leave one screwed into an exhaust.
So in summary - you can have as many sensors as you want, but you'd be replacing them all the time :D
