Problem with EGT.

The gauge that indicates the EGT donĀ“t work. (Being connected).
When I disconnect the yellow connection flashes and then gave incorrect information (Being disconnected).
I think I have a problem with the genboard.
Does anyone know where you're going online and how to repair it?

By the way!
I appreciate the opportunity to put another EGT after the turbo, (I have an EGT in the exhaust manifold before the turbo), in order to have values for the purpose of installing the antilag etc. .....
I think it is a very important indicator for can make adjustments more exact.
So, I need to know how to connect to the genboard another EGT.

If you twist the two wires on the EGT cable from the VEMS together they form a thermocouple and should give a temperature reading of the air (or of your fingers).  If this isnt working then the EGT chip may be damaged - I've seen a couple of systems that have been killed by bad engine grounds as the high voltage routes through the EGT chip.

A repair would be a resoldering job, but it would be exactly the same work as fitting a second chip for the second sensor you'd like.

Rob, I think I fried the EGT chip along with the others :D as my EGT input isnt working either.

Bad grounding is bad :D I had suspected that this is what caused the failure :-\

Hi guys!
One of the fried injfet is due to an accidental crossing of wires.
Is it possible that because of this, other components do not work?
For exemple, EGT?
Does anyone know if you have something in common these components?
The grounding?

If you've had problems with the integrity of the wiring then it is possible that something bad has happened to the EGT chip...
I have seen chips die because the engine grounding was not good, the egt sensor in the exhaust provided a ground path via the chip and it just went on to read noise or nothing at all.

Placing a second EGT needs a second EGT chip that sits on the bottom of the board, this shows the sort of work involes
