wideband sensor - what pins draw\sink the highest current....
« on: November 27, 2008, 10:04:55 pm »
Hi All,

Thought id start designing my wiring harness ready for when i get my vems ecu. Im using a std ecu connector to interface the vems ecu to my std wiring loom.

I have a selection of pins avaliable on the std ecu to connect the wideband sensor to. I know i need 4 for the wideband (12v supply will be supplied seperately):

EC18-pin13 to WB6-pin1 (Nerst Cell Signal)
EC18-pin7 to WB6-pin5 (WBO2 Pump-)
EC18-pin18 to WB6-pin4 (WBO2 Heater)
EC18-pin9 to WB6-pin6 (WBO2 Pump+)

I have 2 pins that are use a larger spade so would like to use these for the wires that draw\sink the most current.

So in order from the above, what pins flow the most current.

Thanks.

The only wires with significant current is heater wires.
