Launch ctrl flashing on/off

After setting up my launch control as per the user guide-

It works just fine when the clutch switch is depressed but when its not depressed the launch ctrl switch indicator in MT is flashing rapidly,

Im assuming the 'misc1' (red line in middle) selection in Megalog viewer is assigned to input channel 5 as im seeing this in the logs;

any ideas why this happening?

That looks as if the input voltage is floating around, this can happen if the input is left open rather than grounded or pulled-up.

Thanks Rob, my bad, i spliced into the wrong wire in the adaptor ::) must have had too many christmas 'refreshments' lol.
