Help please, clever people needed for electronics problem
« on: September 26, 2008, 11:02:25 pm »
Hi,
I've got an ECU that has a rev counter output for 4 cylinders. I have a rev counter for an 8 cylinder engine.
I need something like a pulse doubler as in 1 pulse in 2 pulses out. Can anyone help, please?
Neither ECU output or rev counter are configurable for different cylinders :(
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Are you driving the rev counter from VEMS? If so you might be able to change the divider and get some positive results, if you're using the coil then I've not got a clue on what you need to do :(

Hi,
Rob I'm going to try that now the CANbus option seems to be off the cards, I was going  to sell the dash in question.
Cheers,
Gavin :)
