I was interested in using this guage. I was curious if anyone has used it successfully with the VEMs ECU and what might be necessary to drive this unit?

The VEMS ECU has a wideband controller built-in, you do not need another controller.
For display the team are working on current guage as a display that will plug-in to the ECU.

Thanks for the response Rob!

I would like to use this gauge if at all possible. I know a wideband controller is built in to the ECU, but I really like the layout on this gauge and would like to be able to use it with the VEMs ECU. I already have a EGT. So the can this guage be configured to accurately work?

Many thanks,
Mo-

No.  Not unless you want to run a completely seperate sensor and controller.
And what would be the point?

Hey Rob:

I was not sure if I would need a seperate controller. That was the information I was looking for.

Thanks for the answer. That takes care of that question! I appreciate the assistance. Sorry if that was somewhat of a stupid question.

I look forward to the answer on my Borg-Warner turbo question. Hope they are not too unreasonable! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Thanks again,
Sincerely,
Mo Ahten

Theres no such thing as a stupid question, but I do answer posts on here at a fairly rapid rate so my short answers may appear as if I am irritated, but I am not!.

I've never had any experience with the Tech Edge stuff, it seems to be popular and well established.

The VEMS ECU doesn't have any outputs for the Lambda reading so theres nothing for any gauge to use.

As for an answer on the Borg-Warner turbo...  I was planning on moving it to the Projects or Other chat section, and as I've not messed around with Turbos for about 3 years now I'm really not sure I'm the best person to answer, I'll see if anyone else can, but as this is one of the last weekends of the Summer season I know that a lot of people are away.
