Quote1.0.78 is now useable, including SD logging and MAT-enrich tuning.
Vemstune will get some convenience
and warning features, eg. if HIGHBOOST=0 but ECU is in highboost (table kpa unit=2 kPa) mode.
See
http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=GenBoard%2FUnderDevelopment%2FFirmwareChanges

1.0.78 seems good so far, officially testing, but basically ready for release.

    * after uploading config, you MUST __MANUALLY__ ADJUST
    * MAT correction (enrichment) (X and Y axis, 8+8 values, use defaults)
    * N2O (disable)
    * use recent [vemstune]

vemsTune-Install-2008-08-06.exe or later to set these

        * and to set SD log parameters (automatic logging to SD card after engine start) and save [SD log] and convert to csv for analysis

Am I seeing two things.
a SD card logger.
a New GUI?

It looks like it doesnt it?  Having tested the GUI I find that it crashes almost all of the time, so I'd stick to using MT with the .ini file provided.

Regarding the SD card, theres even some info on how to set it up: http://www.vems.hu/download/SD/v3SDcard.htm

On my XP it crashes too.

Yea it crashed on my Vista as well.

IÃ,´m also seeing duty cycle boost control, Am I too assume itÃ,´s working with 1.0.78 firmware?
The .ini file for Vemstune does that work with MegaTune? Is that what yourÃ,´s saying.

I am digging though having the gauges when your tuning which wasnÃ,´t possible with MT, i.e I always used the VE table and not the live tuning bit. cause I donÃ,´t like that view :)

All the complaints I've ever had have been about the lack of a live table (no +&- function on cells or rows).
About a year ago I did this:
Some more development on the Table Editor, which is still very much in Alpha and effectively non-functional (no ECU interaction).

Ctrl-L allows editing of the load table.
Ctrl-R allows RPM table editing.
Ctrl-C copies the content of the selected cell.
Ctrl-V pastes the copy into the selected cell or group of cells.
F9 changes to VE table.
10 changes to Ignition table.
11 changes to Lambda table.
Select a group of cells in the main table:
Page Up to increase the cells' value.
Page Dn to decrease the cells' value.
Type a numeric value to set the selected cell's
Bounds checking for keyed entry (0-255 for VE, xx.(25|50|75) for ignition, 0.7->1.x for lambda) Lambda does not scale correctly - please advise
Small increment with q|+|Pg Up
Small decrement with w|-|Pg Dn
Large increment with e|Ctrl +|Ctrl Pg Up
Large decrement with r|Ctrl -|Ctrl Pg Dn
Paint value - Ctrl Up, Down, Left, Right

No one seemed bothered so I didnt carry on development.

DAMN

That needs to be in the table tuning those are AWESOME commands and desperately needed.

I use Megatune 2.25p1.
It allows to select any square region on table and do + - * and =.
http://www.diyautotune.com/videos/megatune/megatune225p1_multicell_select.wmv
Very usable!
GUI allows select row or column = less usable. Allways need some region.

Do you have an executable?  I'll put together a MegaTune download with the correct .ini files if you do.

Will we get this 1.0.78 with that megatune in package?

It feature stands in any package on my PC: just replace megatune.exe

I usually put the MegaTune+Vems firmware packages together so I'll be doing this when I'm happy that 1.0.78 is working well.

gunni

If you want to set up a test package with MT
I have a great candidate to test some of the things on.

most importantly duty cycle boost control.
The VE table tuning functions in the p1 MT package.

Is this yours Rob?
It doesnÃ,´t seem to have the live table editing bits.
