Damo is sending back his old style 3mm one and getting it replaced with the turbo friendly type.

This is where the MAT went, bang central in all directions



only just clears the AAC valve, could do with being 1cm right ...

changed the throttle body and ported the plenum inlet to fit while it was off the car

Just remember the EGT probe needs to see all the cylinders. Thats why Rob likes the turbine housing, but I've not seen any problems with putting it in the collector, close to the flange.




You seemed to think this was reasonable from your comments on SXOC.

The sender there is a (broken) GReddy sender, just for fitment check. It will have a 5mm "turbo friendly" EGT Thermocouple when Bob gets his hands on it.
