MegaTune - startup options
« on: March 26, 2008, 12:02:31 am »
Hi,
how do I start MegaTune in "Hi boost" mode, do I need it for boosting up to 2 bar?

You can use the batch files in the profile activation folder to set the default.
But if you are tuning to 2bar (300kpa) then yes, I'd work in the VEMS Genboard V3 12x12 High-boost setting.

Thank you.
Maybe stupid question, but what is the difference between high and standard, I can't see any?

High boost scales the MAP values coming back from the VEMS differently.  If you have a 250kpa sensor and use High boost it will read incorrectly.

Actually I have 400kpa and currently using standard boost scheme. Will change to high boost anyway.
