Transient suppresion diode
« on: April 20, 2008, 11:11:12 pm »
Is the transient suppresion diode built-in or is it something that I have to add? And if I have to add it, does it come in the package when I order?

Hi, it all depends on what you ordered and from whom!

Are you buying the VEMS as components?  Or have you bought a built and tested system?

Bought it from Jorgen@vems.se. I've tried emailing him, but no luck. He's such a busy man so I can understand that. :)

OrderId was 1972.

Hi,

All ECU's sold by me has the internal transient suppresion diode and the flyback should be connected like in this picture: http://www.phattransmissions.com/VEMSUserManual/ConnectingInjectors8.png

I have searched my email database for an email regarding the transient suppresion diode in the ECU part of order 1972 but didn't find any. But I did however find a mail asking about additional bosch connectors and I sent a delayed response to that email.
