Lost TPS / 5 Volts
« on: April 13, 2008, 02:25:11 pm »
Seems like I have lost my 5v on the ECU.
As the TPS wont work anymore, I have checked that the wiring is fine and is getting continuity.
I have also checked the MAP sensor connector to see if there is 5v on that line and there isn't either.
So where or what am I best checking now to see if the 5v regulator or something is working?

Thanks Will

This is a new one on me, what is your voltage reading between EC36-pin28 and ground?  Also what sort of voltage are you seeing if you disconnect your air temp sensor and probe the connector?

Yea I got 5v on the air temp, I had just found out i got 5v on the lcd header just before you replyed.
Pin 28 is grounded? Could that be why pin 29 wont give 5v?

Right just removed pin 28 from the loom and seems ok now. Need to find out where that wire is grounding, i dont even use the MAP sensor.
