Extra Input chanels
« on: February 20, 2007, 10:39:29 pm »
Where are the extra input chanels. how many and how can I use these, analogue? Digital?

EC36/18 pins, GenBoard hard wiring???

Again software/ Megatune.

Really I am looking for the digital input chanel for the ALS.

Rob has mentioned something about this requiring some resistors??

Remind me to take some pics of my VEMS - I have an extra 9 pin D connector with the extra AtoD & digital inputs already wired in.  Don't remember the details, but they come from various header pins on the board.

I was hoping that the new style pin-out drawing would have been done so that it could be better illustrated.

Sorry about the lack of response on this, I've written some wordage about the Analog inputs in the User Guide:
http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=MembersPage%2FPhatBob%2FUserGuide
(Its near the bottom)

The wiring has been confirmed as:

The input is pulled up to 5v through the 2k7 resistor, and when the button is pressed it is pulled down to 0v
