I've never run out of grounds on any of the adaptors that I've made, but there arent too many spare ;)
The 5 that come from the VEMS are joined together (ground cluster) 12cm from the EC36 plug, then I usually take the ground on the chassis plug that is specifically a sensor ground, add that to the ground cluster, then use that wire to give the serial plug on EC18 a ground.
Then you'll need one to connect the sheild for the wires to the VR inputs.

I´m also on my way now

It´s setup for 2 Vr sensors, EC18 pin12(secondery) that is showed as EC36 pin13 in the Phatbob  manual!!

I just run out off the crimping, but will add it when i get some,
this is the complete wiring,
just IAT and wideband missing, so it´s,
boostcontrol,aircon cut relay,fans, iac, knocksensor,mapsensor.

The ignition is setup as, the first 4 ch are logic, and the 4last are with fets, inj fet 1234 are injector 1-2-3-4, injfet 7&8 are iac close& iac open
aircon cut relay p259 ch0, to cut aircon when going wot.
fan control p259 ch1.

then i just need to be able to configure a tacho output to the cluster.

You dont seem to have the grounds joined...  Likely to kill the p259 without it.

Okay,

I just didnt thinkit was nessery,
I have all the sensor, and shield on pin26,
and the rest on the last four grounds, that are internaly conneted, is it really nessesary to connect the externale?

Yep.

Did you see that you in the manual writes that it´s EC36 pin13 that is for a VR sensor, but it´s EC18 pin 12.

No i just need the time to plug it in, to see if i can get at trigger signal..

Dnb,

Did you have any luck with getting the engine finished, and if.

Have you tryed ,if the trigger setup is working?

Now that i have put a wire across the ground wires,
I will today try to plug mine in, the problem is that i dont got a 12v supply,so i have to put it into the car, to test.
and i dont even know what firmware that comes with my board(number1484).

It will probably be something around 1.0.3x to 1.0.5x
As for a 12v power supply... I use a spare drive power connector inside my PC the VEMS only draws a few milliamps so you can have fun testing it on the bench.

Thanks,

Do You still think that i need to put in the older firmware, like 1.0.73 ?

Smart move with the power, but i will now go and plug it in the car, and try the subaru setting that is written on Wiki, and see if i can get a cranking signal ::)

1.0.73 is the firmware to use, its running hundreds of engines for over a year now.

I think you need to start afresh with the config and tables for this install.

Sorry for my absence - no further progress on the VEMS side of my Scoob project.  I got caught up quite badly in "real" work

Okay, i know how it feels, i would be a lot nicer, if the same money con into the account, and didn´t have to work for it,
then there would be better time, to project like this  :)

Maybe you could  review the trigger, injector and ignition settings, to check if it looks right?
