injectors opening problem......
« on: January 08, 2008, 04:37:15 pm »
i bougth vems with wiring loom, before this problem ignition cables were wrong, i changed the cables which my dealer said.
i used 630cc siemens injectors
when i turn the key second possition (before the engine start), injectors start to inject, we check it by unfix the intake manifold and fuel flow to crankcase from block.
because of this reason car couldn't star. i didn't change any setting.
what reason caused the problem?
injector Specifications:
Coil Resistance: 12.5 Ohms / High Impedance / High-Z (No ECM driver modifications required)
Static Flow Rate @ 43.5PSI ( 300kPa ) w/Gas: 60 lb/hr = 630 cc/min = 453 g/min
Static Flow Rate @ 87PSI ( 600kPa ) w/Gas: 85.7 lb/hr = 900 cc/min = 648 g/min
Gain: 0.11ms/mg
Offset: 0.055ms
Turn on time @ 14VDC: 1.14ms
Turn off time: 0.85ms @ 600KPa
Connector: Bosch EV1
Orifice Type: Multi-orifice
Spray Pattern: 30 Degree Spray Cone
Factory fitted with Viton upper and lower o-rings

The injectors should inject once when the key is turned - this is the prime pulse (in MegaTune Settings->Priming, Cranking, Afterstart this will be a single pulse of all injectors and then there should be no further injection events until the engine starts cranking.
If there are any other injection events then I would first look at the crank signal for noise.

Everything looks good there, so we can assume that the settings are all okay and that when the engine starts to crank that the injectors will be fired with a 8.9ms Pulsewidth and 8degrees of ignition advance.

Is the fuel pump priming?  Do you have spark?

Can you do a datalog so that we can see what is happening?

Thanks

Rob

after fixed the ignitoin cables i turned on the engine  just 1 time, after i tried to start, engine started but realy bad noise come from the engine, when i empty the cranccase come out fuel oil mix, fuel solve the oil.
now i removed the fuel pumps socket then turn the key and connect to the ecu.
one thing important; while i changed wrong cables, i checked the injectors sockets from ecu pins with ammeter, i found different signals which did't show in vems diagram.
i'm goint try start the engine, if it start without any nosie i try to log.
