Where should I start with dwell times on these COP's, They are Denso, off a Suzuki GSXR1000. Would 2ms be about right for a place to start?

Start at 1.5 and if you get misfire at higher RPM, increase it 0.2 at a time.

If you wanted to get scientific you could use a current clamp and scope (as long as these are passive coils) the charge-up to establish the optimum.
Personally I go with the suck it and see method!

Good, im going to try this in the next couple of weeks, i need to fit a different connector on the plug loom and wire for wasted spark. Im making up spacers from nylon rod to tie the coils together, and then support that off the cylinder head.

What do you mean by "and wire for wasted spark"? You can't wire passive COP's in pairs. You must use one ignition channel per coil. You can use IGN_DUAL_OUT if you want, but DO NOT wire 2 coils to a single ignition output.

Ah ok, consider my wrists sharply slapped :-\

Its not a problem to run in another two wires from the ECU, but good to know. I have read about that, but for some reason it didnt sink in ::)
