i changed the polarity aswell, same problem :(

it is exactly like this:

http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?7107810-Primary-trigger-error-in-Vems#/topics/7107810?page=1

here it says that the trigger wheel was bent.. but it did run with oem ecu and with another ecu aswell.. we soldered 2k resistor into the signal cable, it got a bit better but the problem is still there
put trigger log here :) it's possible that you have changed shield with negative :) had one case like this :) did some vr's and all were perfect, no need to mod vems hw  or trigger, worked fine when installed properly
and for trigger log it means engine must run on idle and nothing more for it.

low pass filter also came into my mind.. i will post the triggerlog at idle soon.. i havent changed negative with shield.. i know where the signal is going, did the harness by myself and it wasnt the first one i have done :)
did a few installs and never had one like this :(

Did you remove the pullup resistor on primary trigger?

no, why do you need to remove it? unil now every VR trigger worked. even auditigger with 135 teeth on crankshaft.. or is this especially for 60-2 vr6?

thanks

here is the triggerlog file

your sec trigger is in wrong place, it cant be in that spot where you have it now, I mean where those 2 cut teeths are. you could try use other edge for it :) that may be a reason why it's not working properly.

alright problem solved.. sec. trigger was in right position.. a 3k resistor in the signal cable solved all issues.. no trigger error, not even at 7400.. thanks for all of your help :)

no primary trigger was the problem.. the 3k resistor was placed in the primary trigger signal cable
