DBW wiring analog input?
« on: April 08, 2017, 08:56:55 pm »
Hello guys, I'm working on the wiring for my Toyota Mr2 with a Volkswagen MK5 R32 engine swap and have some question on the DBW system. As far as i know i need to use for the throttle position sensors pin 1 TPS IN on EC36 and 3 analog inputs on EC18.  I'm also running a second lambda so i only have 2 analog inputs left on EC18 or am i wrong? Are there other inputs i can use?

The other analog inputs are still available, but not pinned out to the connectors. It will likely be needed to make a small flying loom to connect in those extra analog inputs. If you're not comfortable with that, a note to info@vems.hu asking for that service is the best thing to do.

Hy thanks for your help! Really like to know how to connect the position sensor as its the last i need to do on the wiring!

I was looking at the vems again and noticed this econoseal 10pin connector  :P  But i don't really get it. Are this just analog inputs? Is this the multiplexer? Cant fined information about it really.

There's your answer. 5 analog inputs, second wheelspeed input, second rs232 (for AiM Display or GPS input) and a 5V and GND for convenience.

Okay perfect! I then will use 2 analog inputs and the ground and 5v for the throttle paddle! Thanks!

I hope someone can give me some help with some things i dont really get  ???

Can anyone confirm that the 10 pin econoseal is the analog input multiplexer?

And the mcp3208 ch is the same as analog ch right?

And the ECT sensor inputs are these numbers mcp3208 or analog ch in numbers?
