So basically it got some VEMS loving from Bob around a year ago and he got rid of the stock Dizzy and went for proper direct igntion and trigger wheel, and the VEMS allowed us to run the Throttle Bodies properly, as the stock ECU cant deal with them, plus i wanted full tuneablity for the future.  At the moment were using the MAP sensor and it runs and idles fine, but soon we'll be moving to Alpha N when the rest of the engine work is done.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Rob did the work to switch me to Alpha N yesterday and we then fitted new head, cams etc etc and so far so good!  Not mapped yet but idling steadily and revving quite nicely!  Cant wait to get it mapped and see how it goes!

Yeah Mr Angelworks did a head for Paz, I think some cams were involved but can't say for sure.
It was a happy day that one, AlphaN fuelling and Pizza - who can fault it?
That Pink Clio had some cranking tests on VEMS too.

The reason that this thread has come back to life is that Paz is fitting a Honda F20 engine and I'm doing the support remotely.
Its having the usual first install teething problems, but we had it running, all be it briefly, yesterday but a fuse blew and the ignition seems to have come to a halt...

Should be good to go soon though.

Rob
