vems not generating spark - it was working fine

hi guys
my vems for audi aan pnp stopped working

it was working perfectly .
i started it this morning but it stalled. then i tried again and got this no spark situation

the car isnt seeing any rpm during the crank...

i really dont know what to look for. the ecu itself is working, i can connect to it using bluetooth .
the fuel pump primes.
the fuel inectors are injecting... just the spark is missing, i´ve re uploaded a map and it is the same
can anyone help me with this?
i am using the coil conversion from 034 . i tested all 5 coils and none are generating spark

The injectors likely aren't injecting if you're not seeing RPM. There's no way for the ECU to know it's turning so it should be injecting fuel (or sparking) if there's no RPM signal.

Make sure there is or isn't an RPM signal, and also verify injector outputs too. There's many things it could be, so a little more info/investigation is needed.

If it's not reading RPM, that's the first thing to fix. Almost everything else depends on that. There's a function in VemsTune to make a triggerlog, so disconnect injectors and coils (or pull fuses) and do the triggerlog test. Post results here, or make a Vems Sharing Center report (From help menu) and post the link here.

I am not seeing a rpm during crank on the computer connected to vems.

i did the trigger log, trying to find out how to post it here. i have a csv file and a png file

and i also tested the coils using vems test mode and it is fine. i tested all 5 and all of them jumped spark on test mode

i guess i found out the problem
currently my car is using , on vems, the secondary trigger as cam sync.

when i disabled it , the car started.
so i guess the problem is the g40 sensor

any thoughs?

Just to share info

I changed the g40 and the car is working fine .

Don't konw what happened... The sensor was showing some wear and the wires were soldered already bh me two years ago. Now even though the wires were fine the sensor wasn't working as expected.

Thanks for checking back with the solution. Yeah, a failed sensor can do that.

You were lucky it started with camsync disabled. It will start approx half the time on average.
