HI,

How to control for example OEM 850Watt electric FAN by VEMS ?
Power is connected directly from batter by big fuse and operated by PWM signal from ECU

Does anyone have some confirmed working VAG PWM modules to use with VEMS for a cooling fan?

Part numbers? or what year/model car to take it from?

thanks!

I seems that it is sending 300Hz but I have info that this fan needs 100Hz :D

OK solved   Temic is working well.

I used injector output before but it was marked as not used within injector group table

I am setting up pwm control for the fan and got an idea of diy "solid state relay".
My fan needs 22.2A(from spec sheet) at full speed and it is controlled from p259 ch4.

So, below is schematic from another topic.
My plan is to use this mosfet: https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/irfp4368pbf.pdf?fileId=5546d462533600a40153562c61512015
Other parts just like in schematic
Invert(do i need to?) ch4, connect to input

Will it work?

P.S. there will be heatsink.
